FairReplay Recorder Troubleshooting

I don’t get signals to the recorder​

  1. Check cable connections

Check that all cables are connected correctly.

  1. Check signal on the cable

  2. Check with signal cable provider

I get signal breaks warning​

I get delta warning​

CPU is over 80%​

  1. Check Task Manager

Go to Windows "Task Manager" application and check which program is using too much CPU. Close all not necessary programs.

  1. Check encoding profile

The encoding profile you use takes too much CPU.

Change encoding profile to non-deinterlace format such as 1080i50

The recorder has stopped recording​

  1. Check free space on disk

If there is no free space on disk the recorder stops recording. You can change record to C: or D: or somewhere you still have space.

You want to turn on recorder and you get notice Application is already running​

  1. End task manually

The program has not ended completely when it was last shut off. Go to Task Manager, find Fair Replay and end task.
